SPECIAL EVENT: The Future of Game Design & Development Keynote Lecture & Panel Discussion open to public as part of the Los Angeles Business Technology Week

Kathleen Milnes, President of the Entertainment Economy Institute, is moderating and organizing "The Future of Game Design & Development." Kathleen provides an opportunity of a life time - a chance to meet and interact with some of the top game designers and companies in Los Angeles. A must for anyone who plays games, is interested in pursuing a career in games, or wants to know more about the business, design, and development of games for the set top, the Internet or the mobile device. Not a week goes by that the LA Times Business section features an article on new products and new developments in this fast growing entertainment and educational industry. It surpassed videos and DVDs as of last year!

The Forum Auditorium

@ Pasadena City College campus

This two-hour event starts with an overview of trends, directions, & practices in the game industry followed by a lively and engaging panel discussion.

Ariella Lehrer from Legacy Interactive (http://www.legacyinteractive.com/li/index.php) will present the overview. In the second half, Jon Snoddy of Big Stage and Dave Warhol of Realtime Associates (http://www.rtassoc.com) as well as a representative from Disney Interactive, CAA, will throw their hats into the ring as they give the audience an inside view of the Los Angles area Game Design Industry.

Reception between sessions!
