Description:
Coming to a Small Screen Near You: Opportunities and Challenges in Portable, Mobile and Broadband

Hensel Hall Board Room at Woodbury University, Burbank

The explosive growth in mobile and personal devices has combined with expanded broadband networks to enable more content choices and experiences for global consumers. Music, movies, live television and other 'packaged' media are competing for ears and eyeballs with SMS, MMS, user generated content (YouTube) and social networks (MySpace). Who are the major players? What are their strategies? What do consumers really want to watch on their mobile phones and portable devices? Randy Greenberg, President and CEO of The Greenberg Consulting Group, will kick-start our discussion with a broad overview of the global mobile, portable and broadband business segments. This 'big picture' will then narrow to focus on content creation, preparation, management and distribution through our panel of executives. Von Johnson, President and CEO of Von Johnson & Associates, Inc. will moderate the panel discussion.
