Tim Sarnoff

President, Technicolor Digital Productions

Tim Sarnoff is president of Technicolor Digital Productions, overseeing planning and production of visual effects for motion pictures, broadcast and commercial advertising and the development and creation of computer animation productions. Technicolor Digital Productions has over 2,000 employees across the globe with primary facilities in Los Angeles, Vancouver, New York, London, Beijing and Bangalore. Recently released film projects in which Technicolor created the visual effects are Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. For 12 years prior to joining Technicolor, Tim was president of Sony Pictures Imageworks, receiving two Oscars as well as nominations on eight additional films. Prior to Imageworks, Tim built Warner Digital Studios as a division of Warner Bros., and managed the rebirth of Warner Bros. Animation from a 4-person start-up to a studio with more than 500 employees.
