John Isaacson

Chairman Emeritus of the Pasadena Angels and an Executive in Residence in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles

John Isaacson is recognized for his experience in transactions involving rights in technology and other intellectual property and is the co-author and executive editor of the two-volume treatise Intellectual Property in Business Transactions (California Continuing Education of the Bar, 2008). He is Chairman Emeritus of the Pasadena Angels and an Executive in Residence in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles. Mr. Isaacson has been a member of the Pasadena Angels since 2001. He has invested in 18 Pasadena Angel-funded companies, and has led or co-led eight funding efforts. Before focusing on Angel investing and entrepreneurship, Isaacson was an institutional investment manager in New York and Los Angeles as Chief Investment Officer of Payden & Rygel. In addition to serving on the Board of the Pasadena Angels, he is Chairman of the Dean's Advisory Council for the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
